Westvale & four towns · design, build, maintain
We build the yard you keep going outside for.
Landscape design and build across the Westvale valley — patios, plantings, drainage and the maintenance to keep them right.
What we do
Six things, done properly
Patios & walkways
Flagstone, bluestone and paver work, set on a base built to survive a Westvale winter.
From $4,800 / typical project
Planting design
Beds designed for what your yard actually gets — sun, shade, wet corner and all.
From $1,600 / typical project
Drainage & grading
The wet corner, the basement seep, the spot where the lawn dies every April.
From $2,400 / typical project
Lawn renovation
Aeration, overseeding and topdressing — or a full tear-out and reset.
From $900 / typical project
Seasonal maintenance
Bed care, pruning, spring open and fall cutback. Same crew every visit.
From $165 / per visit
Outdoor lighting
Low-voltage path, step and uplighting, laid out at night where it belongs.
From $2,100 / typical project
When a job closes out
The crew finishes at four. The site is current by four.
Closing out a job on the tablet is the thing the crew already does to get paid. The gallery, the recent-jobs list, the rating and the map are all downstream of it.
Demonstration of Alder & Stone's job closeout. The crew marks the Maple Street — patio, steps and beds job complete and attaches a before and after. The before/after pair appears in the gallery, recent jobs gains an entry for Westvale, the review count moves from 128 to 129 and the star rating from 4.8 to 4.9 with a new five-star review, and a pin drops on the service-area map in Westvale.
Simulated for this sample. Alder & Stone is not a real company, the reviews are invented, and every image on this site is drawn in code rather than photographed.

Replaced a settling brick patio with dry-laid bluestone on a new base, then rebuilt the surrounding beds with a shade-tolerant planting.

Regraded away from the foundation and ran a French drain to a dry well at the property line. The corner has stayed dry through two storms since.
Before After Planting designAshford MillsJune 12, 2026 · 4 crew daysFront walk and foundation planting
Widened a cramped front walk and replaced overgrown foundation shrubs with a layered native planting that will not swallow the windows in four years.

Stripped a failing lawn, amended compacted clay soil, and reseeded with a tall fescue blend suited to the site’s afternoon sun.

Low-voltage path and step lighting laid out on site after dark, plus two uplights on a river birch the owners had never really seen at night.

Same faces every visit
“They walked the yard twice before drawing anything and talked me out of a plant I wanted because it would have been miserable in that spot. Beds look established already.”
D. Okafor · Ashford Mills · Planting design · July 8, 2026
“Three days, no drama, and the corner that flooded every spring is dry. They showed me where the water was going before and after.”
S. Marchetti · Quarry Bend · Drainage & grading · June 27, 2026
“Consistent crew, good notes after every visit. Docked a star only because a spring visit got pushed a week — they did call ahead.”
H. Lindgren · Westvale · Seasonal maintenance · June 19, 2026
“Straight answer about what the lawn needed instead of selling me a program. Sent a watering schedule I could actually follow.”
J. Pham · Linden Cross · Lawn renovation · June 4, 2026
“They came back after dark to place the lights, which I did not expect. Completely different house in the evening now.”
A. Whitfield · Westvale · Outdoor lighting · May 22, 2026
